We strongly advise you to book your car shipping service a minimum of 1 to 2 weeks in advance of your preferred pickup date, especially during peak seasons like summer or holidays. Booking ahead for transporting your car to another state not only guarantees better shipping prices but also creates more availability for the transport services you need. Keep in mind that the earlier you book, the better coordinated and smoother the entire planning and coordination will be, which will ultimately improve your overall experience.

Absolutely! You can still ship a non-operational vehicle to another state with Vehicle Transport Hub. We work with carriers equipped with the right tools and experience to safely handle inoperable cars. Just let us know ahead of time about your vehicle’s condition so we can match you with the right transporter and loading equipment. With proper planning and support, even non-running vehicles can be shipped securely across state lines.

We strongly recommend having someone present at both pickup and delivery to inspect the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading. If you’re unable to be there yourself, you can appoint a trusted representative to act on your behalf. This process ensures both parties can verify the vehicle’s condition and confirm that all delivery details are handled correctly and accurately.

Although not encouraged, we do allow up to 100 lbs of personal belongings in the trunk. Please note that these items are not covered by insurance and should not include any valuables. Carriers may refuse transport if the items are unsecured or exceed the weight limit. This option can be convenient during a state-to-state relocation—just be sure to inform us ahead of time.

Clean your vehicle, remove personal items, and silence alarms. Leave about a 1/4 tank of fuel, and document any existing damage with pictures. Have the vehicle in a condition that can be driven unless otherwise noted. Preparing ahead helps ensure a smooth pickup and avoids any transport delays.
